1. Open the door so that the window is fully accessible.
2. Locate the small plastic cover on the back of the crank handle. This cover hides the screw that holds the handle in place.
3. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry the cover off. Be careful not to lose the cover.
4. Once the cover is removed, you will see a Phillips-head screw.
5. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screw. Do not remove the screw completely.
6. Once the screw is loosened, you can pull the crank handle straight off the window regulator.
7. To reinstall the crank handle, simply insert it back into the window regulator and tighten the screw. Replace the plastic cover.
