1. Disconnect the air intake tube from the engine.
2. Loosen the hose clamps that secure the air intake tube to the engine.
3. Remove the air intake tube from the vehicle.
Step 2: Disconnect the vacuum hose
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR valve.
2. Remove the hose from the vehicle.
Step 3: Unbolt the EGR valve
1. Unbolt the EGR valve from the engine.
2. Remove the old EGR valve gasket from the engine.
Step 4: Install the new gasket
1. Install a new EGR valve gasket onto the engine.
Step 5: Reinstall the EGR valve
1. Reinstall the EGR valve to the engine.
2. Tighten the bolts that secure the EGR valve to the engine.
Step 6: Reconnect the vacuum hose
1. Reconnect the vacuum hose to the EGR valve.
Step 7: Reinstall the air intake tube
1. Reinstall the air intake tube to the engine.
2. Tighten the hose clamps that secure the air intake tube to the engine.
Step 8: Reconnect the air filter
1. Reconnect the air filter to the air intake tube.
Step 9: Start the engine and check for leaks
1. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
2. Check for any leaks around the EGR valve.
