How do you replace outer LH cv joint boot on Nissan Pulsar N15 auto?

Procedure:

1. Park your car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Jack up the car and support it on jack stands.

3. Remove the lug nuts and wheel cover from the wheel on the side of the car where the CV joint boot is torn.

4. Remove the brake caliper and rotor.

5. Remove the cotter pin and nut from the ball joint, and then use a pry bar to separate the ball joint from the steering knuckle.

6. Remove the axle nut from the transmission.

7. Use a pry bar to pry the axle out of the transmission.

8. Clean the axle shaft and the inside of the CV joint.

9. Apply a generous amount of grease to the axle shaft and the inside of the CV joint.

10. Install the new CV joint boot and secure it with zip-ties.

11. Reassemble the axle assembly in the reverse order that you disassembled it.

12. Fill the transmission with the recommended amount of fluid.

13. Lower the car to the ground and test drive it.
