1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the air filter housing. On the 2002 Acura TL Type S, it is located on the right side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.
3. Remove the two 10mm nuts that hold the air filter housing in place.
4. Lift off the air filter housing cover.
5. Remove the old air filter from the housing.
6. Insert the new air filter into the housing.
7. Replace the air filter housing cover and secure it with the two 10mm nuts.
8. Close the hood of your car.
