- Brake line wrench

Step 2: Prepare the Brake System

1. Park your vehicle on level ground.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Engage the parking brake.

Step 3: Disconnect the Brake Lines from the Master Cylinder

For Front Brake Lines

1. Locate the brake lines running from the master cylinder to the front brakes.

2. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the brake line fittings where the lines connect to the master cylinder.

3. Cap off the brake lines to prevent fluid from leaking out.

For Rear Brake Lines

1. Locate the brake lines running from the master cylinder to the rear brakes.

2. Use a brake line wrench to loosen and remove the brake line fittings where the lines connect to the master cylinder.

3. Cap off the brake lines to prevent fluid from leaking out.

Step 4: Remove the Master Cylinder

2. Pull the master cylinder straight out of the brake booster.

3. Remove the old O-rings and any other seals from the master cylinder.

Step 5: Inspect the Master Cylinder

1. Check the inside of the master cylinder for signs of damage, corrosion, or wear.

2. If the master cylinder is damaged, replace it with a new one.

Step 6: Reinstall the Master Cylinder

1. Place the new O-rings and seals on the master cylinder.

2. Use a C-clamp to compress the brake caliper pistons all the way in.

3. Open the bleeder screw on the brake caliper and allow the fluid to flow out until it is free of air bubbles.

4. Close the bleeder screw and repeat the process on the other brake calipers until the entire brake system is free of air bubbles.

1. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.

2. Press the brake pedal several times to ensure it feels firm and responsive.

3. Take the vehicle for a test drive and make sure the brakes work properly.
