* Park your vehicle in a safe, well-lit area and apply the parking brake.
* Locate the rear window wiper arm. It is the metal arm that connects the wiper blade to the wiper motor.
* At the base of the wiper arm, you will find a rubber cover or plastic cap (check your owner's manual if needed). Remove this cover or cap.
* Once the cover or cap is removed, you will see a nut or bolt that holds the wiper arm in place. Loosen and remove this nut or bolt.
* If you removed a nut, carefully pry the wiper arm off the splined shaft.
* If you removed a bolt, you can pull the wiper arm straight off of the wiper spindle.
* Lift the wiper blade arm up and off of the vehicle.
_Note: Depending on the year of your RAV 4, the steps might vary slightly. Consult your vehicle owner's manual for specific instructions._
