How do you pull trouble codes on 1993 Mazda Mx-6?

1. Turn ON/OFF the ignition switch a total of three times within the space of 5 seconds.

2. On the third time leave the ignition switch ON.

3. Trouble codes are displayed via a blinking service CHECK ENGINE light. Each two digit trouble code will be repeated five times followed by a 2 second delay. Each of these series will also be followed by a longer 5 to 10 second pause.

4. Record trouble codes as they are displayed.

5. Each code is represented as a series of blinks from the Service Engine Soon light as follows:

Blinks Number

1 short blink 1

2 short blinks 2

3 short blinks 3

4 short blinks 4

5 short blinks 5

long blink 0

For Example, Code 23:

2 short blinks, pause, 3 short blinks, pause, 2 short blinks, pause, 3 short blinks.
