1. Press the ''Unlock'' button on the key fob.
2. Insert your key into the driver's side door and turn it to the ''On'' position.
3. Press and hold the ''P'' (parking light) button on the turn signal stock for at least 3 seconds.
4. Release the ''P'' button.
5. Press the ''Unlock'' button on the key fob again and turn off the ignition.
6. Exit the vehicle.
7. The security alarm should be reset.
Note: If you have a model with a separate ''Valet'' key, you can use that key to turn off the alarm.
