Replacing the O-Ring on a 1992 Honda Accord EX

The o-ring on a 1992 Honda Accord EX is located in the oil drain plug. To replace the o-ring, you will need the following tools:

- A new o-ring

- A 17mm wrench

- An oil drain pan

- Some rags

Instructions:

1. Park the car on a level surface.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Crawl underneath the car and locate the oil drain plug. It is located on the bottom of the oil pan, near the front of the car.

4. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.

5. Use the 17mm wrench to loosen the oil drain plug.

6. Allow the oil to drain out of the oil pan.

7. Once the oil has drained out, remove the oil drain plug and the old o-ring.

8. Inspect the o-ring for damage. If it is damaged, replace it with a new o-ring.

9. Apply a thin coat of oil to the new o-ring.

10. Place the new o-ring on the oil drain plug.

11. Screw the oil drain plug back into the oil pan.

12. Tighten the oil drain plug until it is snug.

13. Remove the oil drain pan from under the car.

14. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

15. Check for leaks around the oil drain plug. If there are no leaks, you have successfully replaced the o-ring.
