Locate the license plate light assemblies. They are located on either side of the license plate on the rear of the vehicle.
Pry open the lens covers of the light assemblies gently. You can use a flat-head screwdriver or a trim removal tool to do this.
Once the lens covers are removed, locate the light bulbs. They are usually orange-colored incandescent bulbs.
Twist the light bulbs counterclockwise to remove them from the sockets.
Insert the new light bulbs into the sockets and turn them clockwise to secure them.
Snap the lens covers back into place by pressing on them until they click.
Test the new lights to make sure they are working properly.
