Instructions:
1. Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Turn off the engine and let it cool completely.
3. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
4. Remove the air cleaner housing.
5. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
6. Remove the upper radiator hose.
7. Remove the spark plug wires.
8. Remove the valve cover.
9. Remove the timing belt.
10. Remove the water pump.
11. Remove the oil pump.
12. Remove the fuel injection system.
13. Remove the intake manifold.
14. Remove the exhaust manifold.
15. Remove the cylinder head bolts and remove the cylinder head.
16. Clean the cylinder head and block surface with a gasket scraper.
17. Install a new head gasket on the block surface.
18. Install the cylinder head on the block and tighten the cylinder head bolts to the specified torque.
19. Install the exhaust manifold and intake manifold.
20. Install the water pump.
21. Install the oil pump.
22. Install the timing belt.
23. Install the valve cover.
24. Install the spark plug wires.
25. Connect the upper radiator hose.
26. Fill the radiator with coolant.
27. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
28. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the coolant to circulate.
29. Check for leaks and tighten any loose bolts or nuts.
