How do you get the window crank off of a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire 2-door if there does not appear to be clip?

1. Remove the four screws that hold the interior door panel in place. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws located around the perimeter of the door panel, including one behind the door release lever.

2. Gently pry the interior door panel away from the door. Use a plastic pry tool or a flat-head screwdriver to pry the door panel away from the door, starting at the bottom and working your way up. There are a number of plastic clips that hold the panel in place, so be careful not to break them.

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors. There are two electrical connectors that need to be disconnected before you can remove the door panel. One connector is for the power window switch, and the other is for the door lock switch.

4. Remove the door panel. Once the electrical connectors are disconnected, you can lift the door panel off of the door.

5. Locate the window crank. The window crank is located on the inside of the door, near the top.

6. Remove the window crank retaining screw. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the window crank in place.

7. Pry the window crank off of the door. Once the screw is removed, you can pry the window crank off of the door. Be careful not to damage the window crank or the door.

8. Reinstall the door panel. Once the window crank is removed, you can reinstall the door panel. To do this, simply align the door panel with the door frame and snap the plastic clips into place.

9. Reconnect the electrical connectors. Reconnect the electrical connectors that you disconnected earlier.

10. Replace the screws. Replace the screws that you removed earlier to hold the interior door panel in place.
