Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
Put the vehicle in park and engage the parking brake.
Open the trunk.
Locate the access panels for the reverse lights. On some models, the access panels are located on the inside of the trunk, while on others, they are located on the outside of the trunk, behind the taillights.
Remove the access panels. You may need to use a screwdriver or other tool to pry the panels off.
Locate the reverse light bulbs. The reverse light bulbs are usually located at the bottom of the access panel.
Turn the reverse light bulbs counterclockwise to remove them.
Inspect the reverse light bulbs for damage. If the bulbs are damaged, you will need to replace them.
Install the new reverse light bulbs. Screw the new bulbs in clockwise until they are snug.
Replace the access panels.
Test the reverse lights to make sure they are working properly.
