1. Open the hood of your car and locate the distributor cap. It is a round, black plastic cap that is located near the front of the engine.
2. Remove the distributor cap by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it up.
3. Once the distributor cap is removed, you can see the distributor seal. It is a small, round seal that is located at the bottom of the distributor.
4. If the distributor seal is damaged or leaking, it will need to be replaced. You can purchase a new distributor seal at most auto parts stores.
5. To replace the distributor seal, simply remove the old seal and press the new seal into place. Be sure to lubricate the new seal with a small amount of oil before installing it.
6. Once the new distributor seal is installed, you can put the distributor cap back on and start your car.
