Instructions
Step 1: Disconnect the battery
Disconnect the negative terminal of your car battery. This will prevent any damage to your electrical system.
Step 2: Remove the factory head unit
Carefully remove the factory head unit from your dashboard. Be careful not to damage any of the wiring or components behind the head unit.
Step 3: Disconnect the factory amplifier
Disconnect the factory amplifier from the wiring harness. The amplifier is located in the trunk of your car.
Step 4: Install the RCA Input Amplifier
Install the RCA Input Amplifier under your front seat. This is where you will connect all of your inputs and outputs.
Step 5: Connect RCA Outputs
Connect your new head unit's RCA outputs to the RCA inputs on the RCA Input Amplifier.
Step 6: Connect OEM navigation outputs
Connect your OEM navigation's outputs to the RCA inputs on the LOC.
Step 7: Connect LOC output to RCA input amplifier
Connect the LOC's output to the RCA input amplifier.
Step 8: Connect amplifier outputs to speakers
Connect the amplifier outputs to your speakers using speaker wire.
Step 9: Connect amplifier power wires
Connect the amplifier's power wires to your car's battery and a ground point.
Step 10: Reconnect the battery
Reconnect the negative terminal of your car battery.
Step 11: Turn on the system and test it out!
Turn on your new sound system and enjoy the improved sound quality.
NOTE: If you experience any problems with your sound system, double check all of your connections and make sure that all of the components are properly grounded.
