- New cabin air filter (check your owner's manual for the correct size)

Instructions:
1. Locate the cabin air filter housing. In the 2002 Toyota Tacoma, it's located behind the glove box.
2. Open the glove box. You'll need to use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the glove box in place.
3. Locate the cabin air filter housing. It's a black plastic box located behind the glove box.
4. Remove the cabin air filter housing cover. There are two plastic clips that hold the cover in place. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the clips open.
5. Remove the old cabin air filter. It's a white or gray rectangular piece of material.
6. Install the new cabin air filter. Make sure the new filter is inserted with the arrows pointing in the direction of airflow.
