How do you replace cabin air filter on 2008 Toyota sequoia?

Replacing the cabin air filter on a 2008 Toyota Sequoia is a simple task that can be completed in a few minutes. Follow these steps:

Open the glove box and remove the contents.

Locate the two plastic tabs on either side of the glove box opening.

Press inward on both tabs and pull down on the glove box door to remove it.

Find the cabin air filter housing located behind the glove box opening.

Remove the cover of the housing by pressing on the two tabs and pulling it towards you.

Remove the old cabin air filter by gripping it and pulling it straight out.

Insert the new cabin air filter into the housing. Make sure that the arrow on the filter is facing the same direction as the airflow.

Replace the cover of the housing and snap it into place.

Reattach the glove box door by pushing it up until the two plastic tabs click into place.

Replace the contents of the glove box and you're done!

Here are some additional tips for replacing the cabin air filter:

Use a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment to remove any dust or dirt that may have accumulated inside the housing before installing the new filter.

Replace the cabin air filter at least once a year, or more often if you live in a dusty environment.

A clean cabin air filter will improve the air quality inside your vehicle and keep your air conditioning system running efficiently.
