Instructions:
1. Disconnect Battery:
Disconnect the negative terminal cable of the car's battery to avoid any electrical risks during the process.
2. Remove Glove Box:
Open the glove box and remove any contents inside. Locate the screws or clips holding the glove box in place. Remove these fasteners and carefully take the glove box out.
3. Access AC Blower Motor:
You should now see the AC blower motor housing behind the glove box.
4. Remove Motor Cover:
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws securing the AC blower motor cover. Set this cover aside.
5. Disconnect Electrical Connector:
Locate and disconnect the electrical connector that connects to the AC blower motor. Press the release tab and gently pull it out.
6. Unbolt Blower Motor:
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the bolts holding the AC blower motor in place. Ensure you keep the bolts secure for reassembly.
7. Remove Blower Motor:
Once the bolts are removed, carefully pull the AC blower motor straight out of the housing.
8. Install New Motor:
Orient the new AC blower motor correctly and push it into the housing. Secure it using the bolts you removed earlier.
9. Connect Electrical Connector:
Reconnect the electrical connector that you had disconnected earlier. Ensure the connector is secure.
10. Replace Cover and Glove Box:
Put the AC blower motor cover back in place and secure it with the screws. Reinstall the glove box by aligning it and refastening any screws or clips you removed earlier.
11. Reconnect Battery:
Reconnect the negative terminal cable of your car's battery to restore power.
12. Test Blower Motor:
Start your car and turn on the AC to ensure the blower motor is functioning correctly.
