1. Park your car in a well-ventilated area and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the cabin air filter housing. It is usually located behind the glove box.
3. Open the glove box and remove anything inside.
4. Squeeze the sides of the glove box to release it from its hinges.
5. Locate the cabin air filter housing cover. It is usually a black plastic cover with a clip or latch.
6. Remove the cover by pulling it straight out.
7. Remove the old cabin air filter by pulling it out of the housing.
8. Inspect the old filter for dirt and debris. If it is very dirty, you may need to clean the air filter housing.
9. Insert the new cabin air filter into the housing. Make sure the filter is seated properly.
10. Replace the housing cover and clip or latch it into place.
11. Close the glove box.
