How do you change the upper brake lite bulb on a 2004 Nissan Murano?

1. Park your Murano on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Open the rear liftgate.

3. Locate the brake light assembly. It is located at the top of the liftgate, in the center.

4. Remove the two screws that hold the brake light assembly in place.

5. Pull the brake light assembly straight out to remove it.

6. Remove the old brake light bulb by turning it counterclockwise.

7. Insert the new brake light bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.

8. Reinstall the brake light assembly by inserting it into the opening and securing it with the two screws.

9. Close the rear liftgate.

10. Test the brake lights to make sure they are working properly.
