How do you replace the tail light bulb on 1998-2000 Honda Passports?

Step 1: Open the tailgate.

Locate the button at the bottom tailgate of your Honda Passport, press it, and lift up the tailgate.

Step 2: Locate the tail light assembly.

The tail light assembly is located in the rear corner of your Honda Passport. It is a rectangular plastic housing that contains the tail light bulb.

Step 3: Remove the tail light assembly.

There are two screws that hold the tail light assembly in place. Remove these screws with a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 4: Remove the tail light bulb.

Once the tail light assembly is removed, you will be able to see the tail light bulb. It is a small, round bulb that is located at the bottom of the assembly. To remove the bulb, turn it counterclockwise until it comes out.

Step 5: Replace the tail light bulb.

Insert the new tail light bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is tight.

Step 6: Reinstall the tail light assembly.

Reinstall the tail light assembly by replacing the two screws that you removed in Step 3.

Step 7: Test the tail light.

Turn on your Honda Passport and make sure that the tail light is working properly.
