2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the clutch adjustment rod on the driver’s side of the transmission. It’s a long, threaded rod with a lock nut on one end.
4. Use a 14 mm wrench to loosen the lock nut.
5. Use a 10 mm wrench to adjust the rod with two nuts located under the truck closer to the driver’s side. Hold one and turn the other either way until you can fit a thin piece of paper between the clutch fork and throw out bearing then tighten nuts.
6. Tighten the lock nut.
7. Test the clutch by starting the engine and putting the truck in gear. If the clutch is adjusted properly, the truck will move forward smoothly without jerking or slipping.
