1. Locate the shift knob. It is located in the center console of the vehicle, between the front seats.
2. Lift the shift knob straight up. There is no need to push down or turn the shift knob before removing it.
3. If you are unable to pull the shift knob up by hand, you can use a screwdriver to pry it off. Be careful not to damage the shift knob with the screwdriver.
4. Once you have removed the shift knob, you can replace it with a new one. Simply push the new shift knob down into place until it clicks into position.
