Resetting the maintenance minder of an Acura TL 2006

1. Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Press and hold the "SEL/RESET" button on the instrument panel.

3. While holding the "SEL/RESET" button, turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.

4. Release the "SEL/RESET" button.

5. The maintenance minder display will show "----".

6. Press and hold the "SELECT" button on the steering wheel.

7. While holding the "SELECT" button, turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position.

8. Release the "SELECT" button.

9. The maintenance minder display will show "0 %" and the oil life indicator will be reset.

Note: The maintenance minder light will still come on if the vehicle is not serviced at the recommended intervals, even if the oil life indicator has been reset. To avoid this, it is important to have your vehicle serviced at the recommended intervals.
