2. Turn off the engine and allow the vehicle to cool down.

3. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

4. Remove the instrument cluster bezel by carefully prying it off with the flathead screwdriver.

5. Locate the instrument cluster, which is the plastic housing that contains the speedometer, tachometer, and other gauges.

6. Remove the screws that hold the instrument cluster in place, and then carefully pull the cluster out of the dash.

7. Disconnect the electrical connectors at the back of the cluster.
