How do you change 1999 Honda Odyssey rear wiper motor?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Socket wrench set

- New wiper motor

- Replacement rubber wiper blade (optional)

Instructions:

1. Park your Odyssey in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.

2. Open the rear liftgate.

3. Locate the rear wiper motor. It is located on the inside of the rear liftgate, near the top.

4. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the wiper motor in place.

5. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover on the wiper motor.

6. Use a socket wrench to loosen the nut that holds the wiper arm in place.

7. Remove the wiper arm from the wiper motor.

8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.

9. Remove the wiper motor from the vehicle.

10. Install the new wiper motor in reverse order of removal.

11. Test the new wiper motor by turning on the rear wipers.

12. If the new wiper motor is working properly, reinstall the plastic cover and the two screws that hold the wiper motor in place.

13. Close the rear liftgate.

Tips:

- If you are also replacing the rubber wiper blade, now is a good time to do so.

- Be careful not to drop the screws or nuts that you remove.
