Oil still leaks after replacing valve cover gasket on 1999 Toyota Camry. What could be the problem?

There are a few possible reasons why oil is still leaking after replacing the valve cover gasket on a 1999 Toyota Camry:

* The valve cover gasket was not installed correctly. Make sure that the gasket is seated properly in the groove and that all of the bolts are tightened to the correct torque.

* The valve cover is not flat. Check the valve cover for warps or cracks. If the valve cover is not flat, it will not seal properly against the gasket and will cause oil to leak.

* The PCV valve is malfunctioning. The PCV valve regulates the flow of air into and out of the engine. If the PCV valve is malfunctioning, it can cause pressure to build up in the crankcase and force oil out through the valve cover gasket.

* The oil drain plug gasket is leaking. The oil drain plug gasket is located at the bottom of the oil pan. If the gasket is leaking, it can cause oil to drip onto the ground.

To fix the oil leak, you will need to identify the source of the leak and replace the faulty component.
