3. Raise your vehicle with the car jack and place the jack stands under the vehicle. Make sure the jack stands are stable before removing the lug nuts and wheel.
4. Remove the lug nuts and wheel.
5. Locate the wheel hub. It is the round metal piece in the center of the wheel.
6. Remove the brake caliper. The brake caliper is held in place by two bolts. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts, and then remove the brake caliper.
7. Remove the wheel hub. The wheel hub is held in place by four bolts. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts, and then remove the wheel hub.
8. Remove the old wheel studs. Use a hammer and chisel to knock out the old wheel studs. Be careful not to damage the threads on the wheel hub.
9. Install the new wheel studs. Place the new wheel studs in the holes in the wheel hub and tap them in with a hammer. Make sure the studs are seated all the way in.
10. Apply thread locker to the wheel studs. This will help prevent the studs from loosening.
11. Reinstall the brake caliper. Place the brake caliper over the brake rotor and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts until snug.
12. Reinstall the wheel. Place the wheel on the wheel hub and install the lug nuts. Do not tighten the lug nuts completely.
13. Lower your vehicle and remove the jack stands.
14. Tighten the lug nuts until snug. Use a lug wrench to tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.
15. Test drive your vehicle to make sure that the wheel studs are installed correctly.
