Code 1361 - Oxygen Sensor 1, Bank 1, Sensor Heater Circuit:
1. Inspect the oxygen sensor harness and connector for damage or poor connections. Repair or replace if necessary.
2. Check the oxygen sensor ground circuit for good continuity. Repair or replace any damaged or corroded wiring.
3. Test the oxygen sensor heater resistance. If it is out of specification, replace the oxygen sensor.
4. Check the fuel pressure and mixture control to ensure they are within specifications.
5. Monitor the oxygen sensor voltage output using a scan tool. If the voltage does not fluctuate between 0.1 and 0.9 volts, replace the sensor.
Code 1362 - Oxygen Sensor 1, Bank 1, Signal Voltage High/Low:
1. Inspect the oxygen sensor for proper placement and secure mounting.
2. Check for air leaks in the exhaust system before the oxygen sensor. Repair any leaks found.
3. Monitor the oxygen sensor signal using a scan tool while the engine is running. If the voltage remains high or low without fluctuating, replace the sensor.
4. Check the fuel pressure and mixture control to ensure they are within specifications.
5. Test the oxygen sensor heater circuit as described in Step 3 for Code 1361. If the heater circuit is faulty, replace the oxygen sensor.
If you are unable to diagnose and resolve the issue yourself, it is recommended to have the vehicle inspected and diagnosed by a qualified automotive technician.
