Step 1: Loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheels.
Step 2: Place the floor jack under the rear axle and lift the vehicle until the rear wheels are off the ground.
Step 3: Remove the lug nuts and take off the rear wheels.
Step 4: Remove the brake drum by using a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the brake drum in place.
Step 5: Remove the brake shoes by prying them off with a flat head screwdriver.
Step 6: Clean the brake drum and brake shoes with brake cleaner.
Step 7: Apply brake grease to the brake shoes.
Step 8: Install the new brake shoes by sliding them into place and securing them with the two screws.
Step 9: Install the brake drum by sliding it back onto the wheel hub and securing it with the two screws.
Step 10: Adjust the brake shoes by using the C-clamp to push the adjuster screw until the brake shoes make contact with the brake drum.
Step 11: Test the brakes by pumping the brake pedal several times.
Step 12: Reinstall the rear wheels and lug nuts.
Step 13: Lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
