* Socket wrench set
* 5mm Allen key
* Timing belt tensioner tool
1. Remove the timing belt cover.
2. Turn the crankshaft pulley clockwise until the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and camshaft pulleys are aligned.
3. If the marks are not aligned, you will need to turn the engine over one full revolution and try again.
4. Once the timing marks are aligned, insert the 5mm Allen key into the hole on the back of the timing belt tensioner.
5. While holding the Allen key in place, use the socket wrench to loosen the tensioner pulley bolt.
6. Once the tensioner pulley is loose, remove the Allen key and allow the tensioner to move.
7. Remove the timing belt from the crankshaft pulley, idler pulley, and the camshaft pulleys.
8. To install the new timing belt, start by placing it on the crankshaft pulley.
9. Wrap the belt around the camshaft pulleys and slide the tensioner pulley over the belt.
10. Tighten the tensioner pulley bolt until the timing belt has the proper tension.
11. Double check that the timing marks are still aligned.
12. Install the timing belt cover and you're done!
