How do you remove the rear armrest in a 2-door 2000 Toyota Echo?

Tools Needed:

- Phillips Head Screwdriver

- Flat Head Screwdriver

- Pliers (Optional)

Instructions:

1. Locate the two screws located at the bottom of the armrest.

2. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.

3. Gently pry the armrest upward from the front of the vehicle until the plastic clips release.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector for the rear seat lights by squeezing the release tab and pulling the connector straight out.

5. (Optional) Use the pliers to remove the plastic rivets that secure the armrest to the vehicle if they do not come out easily when you pull the armrest up.

6. Remove the armrest.

7. To reinstall the armrest, simply reverse the steps above.
