Instructions
1. Loosen the lug nuts. Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the front wheel that you are working on. Do not remove the lug nuts completely.
2. Jack up the car. Place the jack under the car and raise it until the wheel is off the ground.
3. Remove the lug nuts. Remove the lug nuts completely and take the wheel off.
4. Locate the caliper mounting bolts. There are two bolts that hold the caliper in place. They are located on the back of the caliper.
5. Remove the caliper mounting bolts. Use the socket wrench to remove the caliper mounting bolts.
6. Pry the caliper off of the rotor. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry the caliper off of the rotor. Be careful not to damage the caliper or the rotor.
7. Remove the rotor. The rotor should now be loose. You can remove it by hand.
To Reinstall:
1. Clean the rotor and hub. Make sure that the rotor and hub are clean and free of any dirt or debris.
2. Install the new rotor. Place the new rotor on the hub. Make sure that it is seated properly.
3. Reinstall the caliper. Place the caliper back on the rotor. Make sure that the caliper is seated properly and that the caliper bolts are tightened securely.
4. Install the wheel. Put the wheel back on and tighten the lug nuts.
5. Lower the car. Use the jack to lower the car until it is on the ground.
6. Tighten the lug nuts. Tighten the lug nuts securely with the lug wrench.
