Materials Needed:
* Philips-head screwdriver
* Flat-head screwdriver
* Pliers
* New windshield wiper blades (if necessary)
Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down if necessary.
2. Locate the windshield wiper arms. There should be two arms, one on the driver’s side and one on the passenger’s side.
3. Use a Philips-head screwdriver to loosen the bolts that hold the wiper arms in place. There will be two bolts per wiper arm.
4. Once the bolts are loose, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the wiper arms off the windshield. Be careful not to damage the windshield.
5. Remove the old windshield wiper blades from the wiper arms. To do this, simply pull the blades straight off the arms.
6. Install new windshield wiper blades (if necessary). To do this, slide the new blades onto the wiper arms until they snap into place.
7. Tighten the bolts that hold the wiper arms in place.
8. Repeat steps 3-7 for the other wiper arm.
9. Test the windshield wipers to make sure they are working properly.
