How can you get the front hood to open on your 67 vw beetle?

_To open the hood on a 1967 VW Beetle:_

1. Pull the release knob inside the car._ The knob is located on the driver's side, under the dashboard. Pull the knob up and out to release the hood.

2. _Go to the front of the vehicle and grab the hood handle._ There should be a chrome T-shaped handle near the front of the hood.

3. Lift up on the hood handle and _lift the hood._ The hood will lift up until it is held open by a support strut.

_Be careful not to drop the hood on yourself._
