Instructions:

1. Disconnect Battery:

- Open the hood and locate the negative battery terminal.

- Loosen the negative battery terminal nut with a wrench and remove the terminal from the battery post.

- Disconnect the wiring harness from the rear of the alternator.

4. Remove Mounting Bolts:

- Locate the alternator mounting bolts and loosen them with a wrench.

5. Remove the Alternator:

- Once all bolts are loose, carefully remove the alternator from the engine compartment.

6. Install New Alternator:

- Position the new alternator in place and secure it with the mounting bolts.

- Tighten the mounting bolts securely.

7. Reconnect Wiring:

9. Reconnect Battery:

- Reattach the negative battery terminal to the battery post.

- Tighten the negative battery terminal nut securely.

10. Test Alternator:

- Start the vehicle and allow it to run for a few minutes.

- Use a multimeter to check the charging system voltage at the battery terminals. It should be between 13.5 and 14.5 volts.

11. Verify Belt Tension:

- Check the tension of the alternator belt. It should deflect about 1/2 inch when pressed with your thumb.

12. Final Checks:

- Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure.

- Close the hood and take your vehicle for a short drive to ensure the alternator is functioning properly.

Note:

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting any work on the vehicle's electrical system to prevent electrical shock.

- If you are not comfortable performing these steps yourself, it is recommended to have the work done by a qualified mechanic.
