* 1/2-inch drive ratchet
* 1/2-inch drive breaker bar
* 15-mm socket
* 3/8-inch drive ratchet
* 3/8-inch drive extension
* 10-mm socket
* Flathead screwdriver
* Safety glasses
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the front of the truck and support it on jack stands.
3. Remove the serpentine belt.
4. Locate the power steering pulley. It is located on the front of the engine, near the top.
5. Use the 1/2-inch drive ratchet and 15-mm socket to loosen the power steering pump mounting bolts. Do not remove the bolts completely.
6. Use the 3/8-inch drive ratchet, extension, and 10-mm socket to remove the power steering pulley bolt.
7. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry the power steering pulley off of the pump shaft.
8. Install the new power steering pulley in the reverse order of removal.
Tips:
* Be careful not to drop the power steering pulley. It is heavy and could cause damage if it falls.
* If you are having difficulty removing the pulley, you can use a pulley puller.
