How do you remove and E320 front bumper cover?

Step 1: Park the car and engage the parking brake.

This is important to ensure the car does not move while removing the bumper cover.

Step 2: Open the hood and remove the two bolts holding the bumper cover to the radiator support.

On the 2015 Mercedes E320 these are located behind a plastic cover. You can use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen these bolts.

Step 3: Remove the two screws that hold the bumper cover to the fender liners.

These are located on the inside of the fender liners, near the front of the car. You can use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen these screws.

Step 4: Remove the two bolts that hold the bumper cover to the front crossmember.

These bolts are located behind a plastic cover. You can use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen these bolts.

Step 5: Carefully remove the bumper cover from the car.

Start by pulling the bumper cover away from the car at the bottom. Then, work your way up the sides, unclipping the bumper cover from the retainers. Be careful not to damage the bumper cover or the paint on the car.

Step 6: Clean the mounting surface.

Use a damp cloth to clean the mounting surface of the bumper cover and the car. This will help to ensure a good seal when reattaching the bumper cover.

Step 7: Reattach the bumper cover.

Start by aligning the bumper cover with the mounting surface of the car. Then, press the bumper cover into place until it snaps into the retainers.

Step 8: Replace the bolts and screws.

Replace the bolts and screws removed in the first four steps. Tighten the bolts and screws until they are snug.

Step 9: Close the hood.

Close the hood and check to make the bumper cover is securely attached.
