* Wrench set (10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm)
* Socket set (10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm)
* Screwdriver
* Pliers
* Hammer
* Jack and jack stands
* Transmission fluid
* Grease
* New clutch kit (includes clutch disk, pressure plate, and release bearing)
Procedure:
1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Raise the front of the car with a jack and place it on jack stands.
4. Remove the transmission oil pan.
5. Remove the flywheel housing bolts and remove the flywheel housing from the engine.
6. Remove the clutch disk and pressure plate from the flywheel.
7. Clean the flywheel and pressure plate with a wire brush and solvent.
8. Apply a thin coat of grease to the splines of the input shaft and the inside of the release bearing.
9. Install the new clutch disk, pressure plate, and release bearing.
10. Install the flywheel housing and tighten the bolts.
11. Refill the transmission with new fluid.
12. Lower the car and test drive it.
Tips:
* Be careful not to drop the flywheel or pressure plate.
* Make sure that the clutch disk is installed in the correct direction.
* Tighten the flywheel housing bolts in a star pattern.
* Refill the transmission with the correct type and amount of fluid.
