Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the upper air intake hose.
3. Remove the passenger side front wheel and wheel well liner.
4. Loosen the alternator bracket bolts.
5. Loosen the alternator belt adjustment bolts and remove the belt.
6. Remove the alternator bracket bolts and remove the alternator.
7. Install the new alternator and torque the bracket bolts to 25 ft-lbs (34 Nm).
8. Install the new alternator belt and tension it to the specified tension per FSM using a belt tension gauge or by checking belt deflection as per the FSM.
9. Reinstall the wheel well liner and front wheel and reconnect the battery.
10. Test the alternator by starting the engine and checking the voltage at the battery with a multimeter. The voltage should be between 13.5 and 14.5 volts.
