1. Turn on the engine of your Monte Carlo.
2. Press and hold the brake pedal down for at least 7 seconds.
3. Release the brake pedal.
4. Start the engine again.
5. The brake fluid light should now be turned off.
You may also need to add brake fluid to your vehicle. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is usually located in the engine bay, near the master cylinder.
2. Remove the cap from the reservoir.
3. Add brake fluid to the reservoir until it reaches the "full" mark.
4. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
