1. Park your Cavalier in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the two bolts that hold the side mirror in place. They are located on the inside of the door, behind the mirror.
3. Remove the bolts using a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Gently pry the side mirror off of the door. Be careful not to damage the paint or the mirror.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the side mirror.
