1. Park the car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of the car.
3. Locate the headlight assembly that you need to replace.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly.
5. Remove the three Phillips screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.
6. Carefully remove the headlight assembly from the car.
7. Transfer the two positioning pins and the ground wire from the old headlight assembly to the new one.
8. Install the new headlight assembly in the car, making sure that the positioning pins and ground wire are correctly aligned.
9. Replace the three Phillips screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.
10. Connect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight assembly.
11. Close the hood of the car and start the engine to check that the new headlight is working properly.
Additional tips:
- When replacing the headlight assembly, be careful not to touch the glass of the new headlight. Oils from your hands can cause the glass to become cloudy.
- If you have difficulty removing the electrical connector, use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry it off.
