How do you remove front rotors from 2004 suzuki aerio sx?

Here are the steps on how to remove the front rotors from a 2004 Suzuki Aerio SX:

1. Loosen the lug nuts. Use a lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels, but do not remove them completely. Only loosen them by about a few turns each.

2. Jack up the car and support with jack stands.

• Use a floor jack to raise the front end of the car off of the ground. For the Aerio SX, place the jack under the front cross member, just behind the engine oil pan.

• Once the car is raised high enough, place jack stands under the pinch weld on the front undercarriage. Make sure the jack stands are placed in a stable position and that they are at least as high as the floor jack.

3. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheels. Use a lug wrench or air gun to remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheels.

4. Remove the brake caliper bracket bolts. There are two 17mm bolts that hold the brake caliper bracket to the steering knuckle. Use a ratchet or wrench to loosen and remove these bolts.

5. Remove the caliper. Once the bolts are removed, the brake caliper can be pulled off the rotor. Be careful not to let the caliper hang from the brake line. You may want to use a bungee cord or some wire to hang it from the suspension or other part of the chassis instead.

6. Remove the rotor. The rotor is now accessible. Use a rubber mallet or a piece of wood and a hammer to gently tap on the rotor until it comes off the hub. Be careful not to damage the rotor or the hub.

7. Clean the hub. While you have easy access, use a steel brush or a piece of sandpaper to clean the hub's surface. Removing corrosion, road debris and dirt will help ensure that the new rotor sits and functions properly.

8. Install the new rotor. Place the new rotor on the hub. Make sure that it is seated correctly and that it does not wobble.

9. Install the brake caliper bracket. Put the brake caliper bracket back into the steering knuckle and insert the bolts. Hand-tighten the bolts by turning them clockwise until you cant tighten without a wrench or ratchet.

10. Tighten the caliper bracket bolts. Use a ratchet or wrench to tighten the caliper bracket bolts. Make sure that they are tightened securely.

11. Install the wheel and lower. Slide the wheel back on the lug nut studs and then reinstall the lug nuts. Lower the car from the jack stands and the jack and finish tighten the lug nuts

12. Repeat on the other side of the vehicle, if needed.
