How do you tighten an alternator belt on a 2003 murano?

To tighten the alternator belt on a 2003 Nissan Murano, you will need the following tools:

- Socket set

- Adjustable wrench

- Flat-head screwdriver

Steps:

1. Open the hood of your Murano.

2. Locate the alternator. It is on the front of the engine, on the right side.

3. Find the alternator belt. It is the belt that runs between the alternator and the crankshaft pulley.

4. Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the bolt on the alternator tensioner. This bolt is located on the top of the alternator.

5. Once the bolt is loose, use the flat-head screwdriver to pry the tensioner arm up. This will loosen the alternator belt.

6. Move the alternator towards the engine to tighten the belt.

7. Tighten the bolt on the alternator tensioner to secure the belt in place.

8. Close the hood of your Murano.
