How do you replace a headlight in 1996 Chrysler town and Country?

1. Park your Town & Country on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the headlights to cool down completely.

2. Open the hood of your Town & Country.

3. Locate the headlight assembly that needs to be replaced. The headlight assemblies are located behind the plastic lens covers on the front of the vehicle.

4. Remove the plastic lens cover by gently prying it off with a flat-head screwdriver.

5. Once the plastic lens cover is removed, you will see the headlight bulb. The headlight bulb is held in place by a metal spring retainer.

6. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the metal spring retainer off of the headlight bulb.

7. Remove the old headlight bulb from the headlight assembly.

8. Insert the new headlight bulb into the headlight assembly. Make sure that the new bulb is properly seated in the socket.

9. Replace the metal spring retainer onto the headlight bulb.

10. Replace the plastic lens cover.

11. Repeat steps 4-10 on the other side of the vehicle, if necessary.

12. Close the hood of your Town & Country.
