Instructions
1. Locate the spark plugs. The spark plugs are located on top of the engine, near the front. They are covered by a plastic cover.
2. Remove the plastic cover. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover. Be careful not to drop the cover.
3. Disconnect the spark plug wires. Use a spark plug wire removal tool to disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs. Be careful not to pull on the wires too hard, as this could damage them.
4. Remove the old spark plugs. Use a spark plug socket wrench to loosen and remove the old spark plugs. Be careful not to drop the spark plugs.
5. Gap the new spark plugs. Use a spark plug gap tool to check and adjust the gap of the new spark plugs. The gap should be set to the specifications listed in your owner's manual.
6. Screw in the new spark plugs. Use a spark plug socket wrench to screw in the new spark plugs. Tighten the spark plugs until they are snug.
7. Connect the spark plug wires. Use a spark plug wire removal tool to connect the spark plug wires to the spark plugs. Be careful not to pull on the wires too hard, as this could damage them.
8. Replace the plastic cover. Snap the plastic cover back into place.
