The 2003 BMW 325i does not have a traditional dipstick to measure the engine oil level. Instead, it features an electronic oil level sensor that displays the current oil level on the vehicle's instrument cluster. To check the oil level, you will need to turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Then, press the "BC" button on the dashboard until you see the oil level indicator. This indicator will show the current oil level and will alert you if the oil needs to be added.
Some BMW 325i models may still have a dipstick accessible underneath the oil filler cap in the engine bay. In this case, you can pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and pull it out again to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "min" and "max" marks on the dipstick.
