1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk and remove the four bolts that secure the bumper to the trunk lid.
* Use a 10mm wrench to remove the four 10mm bolts that secure the bumper to the trunk lid.
3. Remove the two bolts that secure the bumper to each wheel well.
* Use a 10mm wrench to remove the two bolts that secure the rear bumper to each wheel well.
4. Gently pull the bumper away from the vehicle, starting at one corner and working your way around until the bumper is completely free.
* Be careful not to damage the paint on the vehicle or the bumper itself.
5. Disconnect the electrical connections for the license plate lights, if equipped.
* Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the plastic covers over the electrical connections.
* Disconnect the electrical connectors by pressing down on the release tab and pulling the connector apart.
6. Remove the old bumper from the vehicle.
* Once all of the bolts are removed, the rear bumper should be easy to remove.
* Set the old bumper aside.
7. Install the new bumper on the vehicle by following the steps in reverse order.
* Secure the bumper to the trunk lid by tightening the four 10mm bolts that you removed in step 1.
* Secure the bumper to each wheel well by tightening the two 10mm bolts that you removed in step 2.
* Connect the electrical connectors for the license plate lights, if equipped.
* Snap the plastic covers back into place.
8. Check that the bumper is properly aligned and secure before driving.
