1. Open the tailgate and locate the two plastic covers on the inside of the tailgate, near the top corners.
2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the covers.
3. This will reveal the two light socket assemblies.
4. Remove the light bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out of the socket.
5. Insert a new light bulb by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
6. Replace the light socket assembly and the plastic cover.
7. Repeat on the other side.
